4 Times the Birthday Fun

Nine months ago in 2001, 2003 & 2007 were very fertile times. Today we celebrate the birthday of our nephew Brett age 7, nephew & niece twins Megan & Zachary age 5, and our friends Lisa & Matt Hall's daughter Harper age 1. Whew! My credit card gets maxed out and Hallmark celebrates a spike in card purchasing activity this month!

Brett is the oldest child of my sister Rachel and her husband Kyle. He is also my godchild and plays a mean game of baseball. He is incredibly cute and hysterical. He is a constant crack-up {just like his parents} at family get-togethers. I can't believe he is turning SEVEN! It seems like just yesterday I was hosting his first birthday at my house! I can't wait to see what the future has in store for this one-of-a-kind kid!

Zachary is the boy twin {duh!} of Jason's sister Kim and her husband Chris. He is Chris's clone from looks, to interests, to personality. He is an incredible athlete and always has a few tricks up his sleeve ;)

Megan is my little lady. She is the girl twin and Kim's mini-me from the auburn hair to the affinity for candy, organization and maternal instincts. She is always there to help, nuture or just belt out her exploding vocabulary.

When I did the math and realized the twins were FIVE, I was floored! Where has the time gone? Zachary & Megan live in Cincinnati and we see them a few times a year, most recently 2 weeks ago and we get a bonus visit next weekend when they attend Mizzou's Homecoming! SCORE!

I can't believe Harper is ONE! She is such a special little girl because without getting into too many details, she is truly a blessing. Her mommy Lisa is one of my very best friends and her daddy Matt is one of Jason's. Harper will go so far in life because she is destined to get the best & friendliest traits from both her parents.

Let's see how many more kids we can cram into this day, shall we? If you're interested, you must conceive around January 23rd, 2009.
