Our first-born baby girl, Casie Rose turns 10 today! She has been the perfect dog: extremely loyal, protective, funny, cute, curious and very laid back. She has always preferred laying in a quiet corner to snooze over being the life of the party {that is her brother's job!} She is our "medical marvel." She has been in & out of the vet countless times for unusual things and she has digested most of the top 100 things dogs shouldn't eat and lived to tell the tale. Since most of our friends and neighbors don't see Casie as much as Louie because she prefers to be alone, most of them don't know the side that Jason & I see of her. She is a funny little dog and can be quite feisty. You wouldn't guess this about her, but she can really stir things up. If Louie is snoozing, she'll do everything in her power to annoy him enough to play with her. It is fascinating to watch. She also causes about 75% of the dog-induced drama in our house. At night, Casie lays smack-dab between Jason & I in bed - on her back & legs up! We love her dearly and our hearts ache to watch her grow old. She'll always be our "angel."
