Today is the day that the Russian government and our adoption agency consider as our 1-year anniversary with Roman. We were thrilled this time last year, but it was hardly over. There were still 21 more days until we left the country and we didn't officially consider everything a done deal until we were on US soil. The pix below are from Feb. 7, 2008 - that last meeting with Roman before we left the orphanage with him on Feb. 26th.
