Today is my friend Nikki's birthday! She and I were in the same sorority in college and were roomies a few times. She still lives in Columbia so I love knowing that I can pop into town and stop and meet her for coffee at Panera or chokes 'n cheese at Flat Branch on my way from Kansas City to St. Louis. She is undoubtedly one of the sweetest and most dear people I know. When I'm at my wit's end with 1 boy, I often think of the times I've seen Nikki handle her 3 boys with grace and patience. Everyone needs a friend like Nik and I'm lucky to have her. Nikki, I hope you're shoe-shopping and chocolate-eating your day away because you deserve it!
