Hope everyone is ready for Jimmuka. Are your lights hung? Gifts wrapped? Cookies baked? The season of Jimmuka is upon us. The month-long season of celebrating my Uncle Jim's Birthday. My mom summarizes it best here. Jim is her younger brother by 10 years and because of the age difference, considered a {spoiled} only-child. Yes, I said "spoiled", Jim! It wasn't even his parents that spoiled him. My sister & aunt did a pretty good job doing that while teenagers to his toddler and now my {poor} Aunt Debbie has to put up with his {ridiculous} demands & requests. Who else commands 2 separate home-cooked dinners of duck & goose with friends? Who else skis in Canada as part of their celebration? A scuba-diving trip in Cozumel? And that is all THIS YEAR! For my last birthday, I bought my own purse and cooked my own dinner {no offense, Jason}. So "Hark the Harold, Angels Sing. Glory to the 53-Year old Jim". Love ya & miss you, Jim! Hope you have a wonderful "season"!
